Gas prices spike across the Lynchburg region, with multiple areas hitting $3.99
Gas prices across Greater Lynchburg moved higher this week, with the City of Lynchburg checking in at $3.71 per gallon as of Monday afternoon, up from $3.46 one week ago.
Surrounding areas are now pushing closer to—or above—the $4 mark. Amherst and Appomattox both reported $3.99, while Rustburg came in at $3.97 and Bedford at $3.85.
Across the region, Lynchburg sits in the middle of the pack. Danville matches Lynchburg at $3.71, while Roanoke ($3.66), Richmond ($3.69), Charlottesville ($3.69), and Virginia Beach ($3.69) all remain slightly lower. Alexandria continues to lead at $3.99 per gallon.
