Lynchburg Parks & Recreation Department invites families to celebrate a cherished tradition at the Snow Ball Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the City Armory. This winter-themed evening offers daughters and the significant men in their lives a magical opportunity to dress up, dance, and create lasting memories together.
The Main Dance will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and features two hours of dancing with music provided by DJ Q, light refreshments, access to a photo booth, and a party favor for each daughter. Attire is semi-formal, with winter and snow themes encouraged. The event is open to all ages.
In addition, a Sensory-Friendly Experience will be offered from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. This session is designed for participants who may benefit from a quieter environment, with lights and sounds kept to a minimum and a limited number of attendees admitted. Participants in the sensory-friendly session may remain for the main dance beginning at 6:00 p.m. at no additional cost.
Tickets are $11.00 per person, and each attendee must have a ticket. Advanced ticket purchase is required, and ticket sales will close on February 17, 2026.
Those requesting additional accommodations for the sensory-friendly experience should email Paula Kepel at paula.kepel@lynchburgva.gov by February 6, 2026.
This beloved annual event is expected to sell out, so families are encouraged to purchase tickets early and join us for an unforgettable evening of music, laughter, and wintertime fun.
