From established neighborhoods in the city of Lynchburg to growing subdivisions in Bedford County, buyers and investors remained active in a variety of price points. Recent transactions also highlight continued demand for new homes and development-ready land, while building permits indicate that construction growth remains a strong part of the region’s housing landscape.
In the City of Lynchburg, two higher-priced transactions led recent activity, reflecting interest in both new construction and investment properties. The highest recorded sale was 408 Federal St., which transferred from Caryn Edmunds Fraser, trustee, to Ambrose Ashby Realty LLC for $650,000.

Another notable sale included Lot 3, phase 1A, Blackwater Run, where Foster Builder, Inc. sold a new home to Janice Renea Scales for $513,500. The seller was represented by Seller represented by Jill Rufus with EXP REALTY LLC. Rounding out the top transactions was Lot 88 in the Nester Lots, sold by Lilly lu Homes LLC to Bryce Lewis Carter for $405,000.
