The Bedford County Office of Economic Development, in partnership with Virginia Career Works and Bedford County Public Schools, invites the public to attend the Moneta Job Fair on Thursday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Staunton River High School (1095 Golden Eagle Drive, Moneta).
This free event brings together local and regional employers who are actively hiring in high-demand industries such as manufacturing, construction, skilled trades, healthcare, and more. Whether you’re a recent graduate, a seasoned professional, or someone exploring a new career path, the Moneta Job Fair offers valuable opportunities to connect face-to-face with employers.
Individuals will be able to meet directly with hiring managers and receive free resume assistance on-site in the school library. Additionally, space will be available for companies to conduct on-site interviews.

Principal of Staunton River High School, Darcy Parker, shared, “Recognizing the employment challenges faced by many of our recent graduates, we felt it was important to create a convenient and meaningful opportunity for them—alongside our current students and community members—to connect with local employers. There has not been a career fair hosted directly in our immediate area, and we saw a clear need to bring these opportunities closer to home.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes. Businesses participating in the Job Fair will be listed on the Facebook event page. Food trucks will also be on site.
