Real estate activity across Greater Lynchburg had a mix of high-end home sales, steady neighborhood turnover, and a long list of building permits showing investment in the region. From properties in the City of Lynchburg to moves in Bedford and steady sales in Amherst and Campbell, buyers kept deals moving across the map.
In the City of Lynchburg, the priciest transactions were led by 106 Two Creek Drive, which sold for $1.525 million, followed by 3128 Rivermont Ave. at $1.315 million. Julie Weems with NextHome Two Four Five represented the sellers on Two Creek Dr. while Jill Rufus with exp Realty represented the sellers on 3128 Rivermont.


Another major sale came at 3889 Peakland Place for $765,000, showing that demand remains strong for larger, higher-end homes in established areas. Danielle Mason with Blickenstaff & Company Realtors represented the sellers on Peakland Place. Other solid mid-range sales included Lot 62, Section 1, Kenwood Hills at $369,900 and Lot 51, Grove Hill Subdivision at $344,490.

In Amherst County, the top sale was 181 Mobley Mountain Road at $839,900, far outpacing the rest of the list. Betsy Ann Ferguson with Lynchburg's Finest Team represented the sellers.

The next highest deals in Amherst County were clustered in the mid-$300,000s, with Lot 7 and part of Lot 6, Edge Hill selling for $377,000, and 820 Kenmore Road close behind at $374,000.
Bedford County’s sales leaned heavily into popular neighborhood and lake-area properties. The highest transaction was 3769 Hales Ford Road at $449,950, followed by Lot 73, Section 1, Brookledge at $390,000, and Lot 8, Caterbury Woods at $380,000. Several other sales landed in the low-to-mid $300,000s, keeping the county’s market active across multiple price points.
In Campbell County, the biggest transaction was the former Renaissance Ford dealership location 1163 Wards Road at $3 million, standing out as the highest-priced deal in this roundup.

Residential activity was topped by Lot 47, Crescent Grove Subdivision at $488,475, followed by 69 Creekview Lane (plus an additional parcel) at $379,000, showing a mix of new construction and established properties continuing to move.
Building permits also told a big story, led by a major project at Timberlake Baptist Church, 65 Brush Tavern Drive, an addition valued at $2.102 million. New home construction stayed active too, including a $450,000 new dwelling on Level Gate Lane, a $350,000 new dwelling on Lot 6, Leesville Road, and a $326,000 new dwelling on Lot 2C, Gladys Road, along with multiple townhouse permits on Ranwell Road at $160,000 each.
