(Lynchburg, Virginia) – One year ago, Wolfbane Productions took a leap of faith and opened the doors to its new indoor home in Downtown Lynchburg. What followed was a season filled with sold-out performances, local partnerships, and a community that showed up in force to support live theatre. Today, the award-winning theatre company is celebrating that milestone with the announcement of its largest main stage season ever- six shows in 2026- made possible thanks to the incredible support of the Lynchburg community and partners like Downtown Lynchburg Association, Genworth, Forehand Properties Inc., Jamerson Building Supply, Jack Dean Insurance Agency, and Davidson, Doyle, and Hilton, CPA.
“Lynchburg has welcomed us with open arms,” said Dustin Williams, Artistic Director of Wolfbane Productions. “This first year flew by, and because of this incredible arts community, we are able to grow, expand, and offer more theatre than before.”
The 2026 season adds a sixth production to Wolfbane’s already ambitious line-up, offering audiences a mix of comedy, thrillers, musicals, and their signature immersive experiences that are unlike anything else in the region.
Next year’s line-up includes “The Play That Goes Wrong” (February 6-March 1), “Misery,” adapted from the novel by Stephen King (April 10-26), “Grease” (June 5-28), “The Toxic Avenger: The Musical,” complete with an audience ‘Toxic Waste Splatter Zone’ (July 31-August 15), “The Addams Family Musical” (September 25-October 17), and “Wolfbane’s A Christmas Carol” (November 28-December 20).
Before launching into 2026, Wolfbane will close out its current season (celebrating 18 years) with two audience favorites: “The Rocky Horror Show” (September 26-October 25, 2025) and “Wolfbane’s A Christmas Carol” (December 4-21, 2025).
“With new shows, new events, a growing education department, and continued collaborations with local businesses, we can’t wait to see what the next year brings,” said Ken Arpino, Executive Director of Wolfbane Productions.
