Arts & Entertainment: What's Happening Across Greater Lynchburg

From major festivals and live performances to neighborhood gatherings and family-friendly activities, Lynchburg Agenda brings the region's arts, entertainment and events together in one place.

Greater Lynchburg has no shortage of things to see, do and experience. From the Virginia Wine & Garlic Festival in Amherst County and the annual Lynchburg Music Fest to downtown celebrations, theater productions, concerts and seasonal festivals, the region offers a wide variety of entertainment throughout the year.

But arts and entertainment aren't limited to the biggest events.

A local theater production, an art exhibition, a concert in the park, a community festival, a children's performance or a weekend gathering organized by a neighborhood nonprofit can be just as meaningful to the people who attend.

That's why we've created a dedicated Arts & Entertainment section at Lynchburg Agenda.

Our goal is to bring together information about events, performances, festivals, cultural activities and entertainment opportunities throughout Lynchburg, Amherst, Bedford, Appomattox and Campbell counties and the surrounding communities.

Big or small, if it's happening across Greater Lynchburg and involves arts, entertainment or a community event, this is where you'll find it.

We'll highlight everything from major annual festivals and nationally recognized performers to local musicians, school productions, art shows, seasonal celebrations and activities for children, families and adults of all ages.

And while the region's signature festivals may attract the largest crowds, we believe smaller events deserve attention, too. Sometimes the most enjoyable experiences are happening just down the street, and you simply haven't heard about them.

The Arts & Entertainment section will serve as a growing resource for discovering what's happening, what's coming up and who's making it happen.
