Luxury waterfront properties, subdivision homes and major residential construction projects continued driving activity across Lynchburg and the surrounding counties.
Real estate activity across the greater Lynchburg region continued to show strength with several high-dollar residential sales recorded in Lynchburg and the surrounding counties. Bedford County once again led the area with the top transaction, while Amherst, Campbell and Appomattox counties also reported a steady mix of subdivision homes, rural properties, and land sales. Building permit activity reflected continued residential growth throughout the region with multiple new home projects and high-value construction investments underway.
In the city of Lynchburg, the highest sale was in Peakland Addition, where a home sold for $600,000. Sellers were represented by Daniele Mason with Blickenstaff & Company Realtors.

Another notable transaction came in Sandusky Hills with a $449,000 sale, while a 3.711-acre parcel on Link Road sold for $405,000. Additional activity included condominium sales in Heritage Condominiums, transfers in Wyndhurst and Heritage Court Townhomes, and continued movement in established neighborhoods throughout the city.

Bedford County once again posted the region’s highest sale with a Greer’s Ford Shores property selling for $1.3 million.

Meadow Wood located at 6400 Everett Rd, Forest, followed with a $700,000 transaction where sellers were represented by Butch Jefferson with Divine Fog Realty.

A home on 508 Hemlock Shores Drive sold for $500,000 where sellers were represented by Carleen Heckert with Keller Williams Realtors Roanoke. Bedford also recorded continued activity in Eastyn Crossing, Cherry Tree Estates and Farmington at Forest, highlighting steady demand across both luxury and subdivision markets.
