Open Division
All-MAAC golfer Cabell Faulkner holds a one-shot lead after firing a 3-under 68 on Friday at Boonsboro Country Club.
Close behind is Boonsboro member Peter Ramsey, who turned in one of the most aggressive rounds of the day with six birdies. Faulkner and Ramsey will be paired with Zach Wehrman in Saturday’s featured group, teeing off at 2:30 p.m.
Only a handful of players broke par in Round One. Joining Faulkner and Ramsey were:
- William & Mary rising senior Luke Walmet (-1)

- Former Randolph-Macon standout Zach Wehrman (-1)
The leaderboard remains tightly packed, with 17 golfers within five shots of the lead.

He enters the weekend fresh off helping Liberty claim the Conference USA Men's Golf Championship title.
