Lynchburg’s annual Regional Police Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 6:30 PM
National Police Week observed May 11–17, 2025, pays special recognition to the law enforcement officers across the United States who have lost their lives in the line of duty—and to those who continue to serve with courage and dedication each day.

Lynchburg’s annual Regional Police Memorial Service as part of National Police week will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Monument Terrace on Church Street in downtown Lynchburg. The community is invited to attend this solemn ceremony honoring local, state, and national officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

In the event of inclement weather, the service will be moved indoors to the sanctuary of Court Street United Methodist Church, located at 621 Court Street.

This memorial service is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity as we honor those who gave their lives in service—and those who continue to protect and serve our community with distinction.
