LCS TO HOST OPERATIONS JOB FAIR ON OCT. 22

Hiring Immediately for School Nutrition, Facilities and Maintenance, and Transportation Positions

(LYNCHBURG, VA) – Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) will host a job fair on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m., offering opportunities to join the division’s School Nutrition, Facilities and Maintenance, and Transportation teams. The event will take place at the LCS Information Technology Center (3550 Young Place, Lynchburg). 

With competitive pay starting at $17 per hour, LCS offers rewarding careers that make a meaningful difference for students every day. From foodservice workers to custodians to bus drivers, each employee helps set up students for success. LCS is hiring immediately for the 2025-26 school year. Open positions include:
