Temperature control, sanitation and pest prevention concerns led the week's violations, though most restaurants recorded few or no deficiencies.
The week's most significant concerns involved food temperature control, sanitation procedures, pest prevention and employee food-safety practices, with several establishments recording elevated violation totals during routine inspections.
Mizumi Japanese Bistro and Beale's Beer Co. recorded the highest routine inspection totals of the week with 10 violations each, while Taco Jesus Trailer and Bojangles #1160 each posted seven violations. Most facilities, however, demonstrated strong compliance with food-safety standards, as over half of all routine inspections resulted in two or fewer violations.
