Greater Lynchburg’s property market logged a stretch of closings, with luxury addresses returning with a couple of seven-digit transactions, steady mid-range moves, and a $4,636,927 transaction at 17327 Forest Road conducted by Terry Real Estate Lynchburg LLC, for an automobile dealership.

In the City of Lynchburg, the marquee sale was 1401/1521 Wiggington Road at $1,800,000. A significant Leesville Road grouping traded for $950,000. Among higher-end residential lots and homes, Lot 9 in Belfield AKA 1625 Belfield Pl sold for $587,500, closely followed by a Boxwood Farm purchase at $530,000. Belfield Pl sellers were represented by Mary Sloan of John Stewart Walker Realtors. Broad activity filled in the middle, from $390,000 on Leesville Road to entry points under $200,000 on Park, Heath, and Hillview Streets.

Appomattox County saw the highest sale at $329,900 for Lot 9 in the Jonesfield Subdivision, followed by $169,000 on River Ridge Road. Several land plays rounded out the sheet—two Acorn Drive parcels at $100,000 and Burge Place lots at $66,000 and $56,000—signaling lower prices.

Campbell County’s top sale was 7209 East Ferry Road at $429,900. New-home energy in Crescent Grove popped with two near-peak trades—$418,680 and $417,985—while additional closings included $374,000 (also Crescent Grove), $349,900 on Mimosa Lane, and $339,900 on Dearborn Road.

High-end residential construction includes a $900,000 new dwelling on Lees Mill Lane, with multiple new homes clustered around $439,000 on Wells Road and additional starts at $400,000 on Leesville Road and $369,000 on Skinnell Mill Road.
