This Week’s Real Estate Transactions Across Greater Lynchburg
The Greater Lynchburg area saw a near repeat of last week, with a steady mix of mid-priced home sales across the region and a handful of high-end transactions in Bedford County. Campbell County also recorded a wave of new building permits. Buyers ranged from investors to families settling into established neighborhoods, while sellers included longtime owners, developers, and local LLCs. Together, this week’s activity paints a clear picture of a market that remains active—though largely concentrated in the mid-priced range.
In the City of Lynchburg, the highest-priced sale was a home at 3464 Ivylink Place, sold by John B. and Helen A. Arnold to Zavvie Power Buyer LLC for $470,000. Other top transactions included a Linkhorne Forest property that sold for $385,000 and a home in Evergreen Subdivision purchased for $340,000. These sales highlight strong activity in newer and well-maintained neighborhoods. Several mid-range properties also changed hands, such as homes on Cedar Hill Drive, Aaron Place, and 12th Street, showing continued demand from both homeowners and investors.
