LYNCHBURG, Va. – Concord Turnpike reopened to through traffic at around 3:00 p.m. today, August 7, following a temporary closure needed to repair a broken private fire line and restore the roadway near CertainTeed, 1801 Concord Turnpike.
A flagging operation will remain in place while off-road work continues in the area. Motorists should expect minor delays and use caution while traveling around the work zone. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
