City of Lynchburg climbs to $4.09 for regular gas as most regional markets continue edging higher, though several Virginia comparison cities remain lower
Gas prices across Greater Lynchburg moved higher this week, with the City of Lynchburg checking in at $4.09 per gallon for Regular, up from $3.85 last week.
Among nearby local markets, Amherst posted the highest price at $4.19, followed by Appomattox at $4.11. Bedford came in just under the $4 mark at $3.97, while Rustburg was the lowest in this local snapshot at $3.89.
Across Virginia, Alexandria remained the highest comparison market at $4.29, followed by Charlottesville at $4.12 and Virginia Beach at $4.07. Danville and Richmond were lower at $3.84 and $3.89, respectively, while Roanoke checked in at $3.98.
