Hawaiian-inspired meal at Linkhorne Middle School will showcase fresh, scratch-made recipes served in Lynchburg schools
Lynchburg City Schools will host its third and final Community Dinner of the school year on Thursday, May 14, giving families, students, staff and community members a chance to sample the district’s national award-winning approach to school meals.
The dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Linkhorne Middle School, 2525 Linkhorne Drive. The Hawaiian-inspired menu is designed to reflect the fresh ingredients and scratch-made recipes now being served to students through LCS’s partnership with Brigaid.
Meals are $5 for students and $8 for adults. Children ages 2 and younger eat free. Dine-in and take-out options will be available, with payment accepted by cash, card or online in advance.
If you are planning to attend, please contact Austin Journey at journeyat@lcsedu.net or (434) 515-5068.
