Annual fundraiser features all-you-can-eat shrimp, music and dancing, with proceeds benefiting three local nonprofits and Kiwanis student leadership programs.
The Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg will hold its 11th annual Shrimp Fest on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Boonsboro Ruritan Club, 1499 Coffee Road.
The annual fundraiser features all-you-can-eat fresh boiled North Carolina shrimp along with sides and dessert. The event will also include music, dancing and a 50/50 raffle, with beer available for purchase.
Food will be served from 5 to 7 p.m.
Proceeds from this year's Shrimp Fest will support Kiwanis student leadership programs and three Lynchburg-area nonprofit organizations: Amazement Square, Miriam's House and Camp Kum-Ba-Yah.
Tickets:
- Adults/ages 12+: $40 in advance ($45 at the gate, if available)
- Ages 6–11: $15 in advance ($20 at the gate, if available)
- Ages 5 and under: Free
