The Greater Lynchburg real estate market stayed active this week, with a mix of million-dollar home sales, steady suburban demand, and continued residential construction throughout the region. Transactions across the City of Lynchburg and neighboring counties showed buyers still investing in both established neighborhoods and rural acreage. Higher-end homes led several local markets, while building permits pointed to continued confidence in future growth.
The City of Lynchburg posted the region’s most expensive transaction by a wide margin as Lot 8 in the Hundred Acre Wood subdivision AKA 120 Sanders Ln sold for $1,980,220 from RB30 LLC to Jonathan M. and Beth B. Bishop. Seller was represented by Donovan Martin with Lauren Bell Real Estate, Inc.

Another major sale came in Linkhorne Forest, where Lot 4 and 4-A AKA 3024 Cardinal Pl changed hands for $499,900. Sellers were represented by Cheryl Montecino with Mark A. Dalton & Co., Inc. Ridgecroft Drive also saw a strong closing at $460,000. These sales reflect continued demand for upscale neighborhoods with larger homes and prime locations inside the city.
