Several mid-priced sales from Heritage Court to Cedar Ridge demonstrate steady residential movement across various neighborhoods.
Bedford County Bedford County continued to dominate the luxury segment with a $746,000 home in Woodlands located at 113 Merrywood Dr. in Forest and a $505,000 property in Mariner’s Landing. Merrywood Drive sellers were represented by Randy Higgins with Cornerstone Realty Group Inc. Mariners Landing transaction address is 1259 Our Cove Rd. in Huddleston with sellers represented by Debra Getto with ReMax Lakefront Realty. Additional notable sales included a $500,000 home in The Fields and several in the $400K+ range in Stonewall, Mariner’s Village, and Helmsdale Drive.
Appomattox County Appomattox saw a peak residential sale in Flood Estates at $428,000, with additional strong activity on Wildway Road at $319,000 and North Avenue at $275,000. These sales lead to a healthy appetite for mid-range properties in this rural market.
Campbell County Campbell County posted the week’s top regional transaction with a $1.45 million commercial sale at 19293 Leesville Road.
Residentially, Wildwood led at $425,000, with Deer Creek and Down Creek Estates also closing solid deals. Runaway Bay and Marysville Road saw more modest activity, rounding out a wide price spectrum.
Amherst County Amherst’s top sales were $354,900 in Stratford Place. Grant’s Hollow Road and Depot Road each surpassed $245,000, while South Amherst Highway moved a 32-acre parcel for $164,150. With a mix of land and single-family homes, Amherst’s market continues to show diversity in offerings.
Building Permits in Campbell County Campbell County reported a flurry of permit activity this week led by two $5.2 million apartment buildings from Yellow Branch Properties.
