Business aviation activity slowed considerably Friday at Lynchburg Regional Airport following one of the week's busiest days. No business aircraft arrivals were recorded, but two corporate jets departed during the morning.
A Cessna Citation II departed for Charleston Executive Airport near Charleston, South Carolina, while the Wheels Up Eclipse 500 that arrived Thursday afternoon inched its trip forward with a departure to Birmingham. Airport activity for the remainder of the day was dominated by Liberty University flight training operations and privately owned piston aircraft. No military or government aircraft were recorded.

Thursday was one of the week's busiest days for private jet traffic at Lynchburg Regional Airport, highlighted by a steady flow of corporate aircraft making same-day visits. The activity included a Gulfstream G280 that completed two separate trips after arriving from Pennsylvania and Washington Dulles before departing for Wilmington, North Carolina, a Learjet 40 on a Cleveland-area business trip, and a Citation Excel that returned from Atlanta before continuing to the Charlotte area.
