Lynchburg Real Estate Sales Led by $750,750 Transaction

Lynchburg’s real estate market recorded 14 transactions from September 5 through September 12, with transactions ranging from $5,500 to $750,750. The week’s activity included single-family homes, a condominium, a two-unit residential property and vacant residential land, with the highest-priced sale topping three-quarters of a million dollars.

The City of Lynchburg’s highest sale was a property at 114 Buckingham Dr., which sold for $750,750. Scott Joseph and Ann P. Strobel purchased the property from Jacob D. and Jenna L. Bushnell. Sellers were represented by Mark Tomlin with Keller Williams and T&T Realty and Auction.

According to the Mark Tomlin Real Estate & Auctions team, many longtime residents may remember that portions of the home and barn were originally part of the historic Wooldridge Farm, once located in the area that is now Cornerstone. The team said the property generated no shortage of stories and memories from area residents throughout the auction process.

The second-highest transaction was 3405 Landon St., which sold for $410,000 to Fedor, Stefanie Nicole from Baker, Daniel R & Melissa. Sellers were represented by Jonathan Mckinney with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Dawson Ford Garbee & Co.

A condominium at 420 Capstone Dr. 101 was the third-highest sale, changing hands for $319,000 to Simmons, Laura Darlene from Crown at Cornerstone LLC.
