Monday snapshot shows lower prices at select locations
Gas prices across Greater Lynchburg showed a slight dip at the low end this week, with the City of Lynchburg coming in at $3.41 per gallon, down from $3.45 last week. That lowest price reflects a membership-based retailer, while other widely available options were slightly higher.
Surrounding areas remained fairly steady, with Bedford at $3.59 and Appomattox at $3.77, while Amherst and Rustburg both checked in at $3.87.
Across Virginia, Lynchburg continues to compare favorably, with most peer markets landing in the mid-$3.40s to upper-$3.50s. Alexandria remains the highest in this group at $3.94, while Richmond and Roanoke are closer to Lynchburg’s range.
