Vanderbilt standout leads Sarah Lydic by one shot, while five players remain under par entering Tuesday's championship round.
Vanderbilt's Kathryn Ha will take a one-shot lead into Tuesday's final round of the Donna Andrews Invitational after navigating a challenging second round at Boonsboro Country Club.
Ha followed her opening-round 67 with a 71 to reach six-under-par 138 through 36 holes. The Virginia Girls Golfer of the Year and one of the tournament favorites has been among the steadiest players in the field, holding off a talented group of challengers.

Wake Forest standout Sarah Lydic remains firmly in contention after a second-round 72. Lydic, who shared the first-round lead with Ha and Megan Meng, sits just one shot back at five-under-par 139 heading into the final round.
The biggest mover among the leaders was College of Charleston's Molly Hardwick. After opening with an even-par 72, Hardwick fired a two-under-par 70 on Monday to climb into a tie for third at two-under-par 142. She shares that position with Northwestern's Megan Meng, who followed her opening-round 67 with a 75.
Only five players enter the final round under par, with UNC Greensboro's Kasey McIlvaine rounding out that group at one-under-par 143 after rounds of 69 and 74.
Quinnipiac's Samantha Galantini sits alone in sixth place at even par 144 and remains well within striking distance should the leaders falter.
Among the players featured in the tournament preview, several continue to position themselves for strong finishes. Virginia standout Elsie MacCleery and 2024 Donna contender Grace Petzold are tied for seventh at one-over-par 145, while Oklahoma's Ellison Lundquist is ninth at two-over 146.

Auburn's Frances Brown second round had the tale of two nines with a 32-41 73 and moved into a tie for 10th at three-over 147.
Riley Quartermain sits at 148 after two rounds. Double bogeys at holes 2 and 18 offset her three birdies.
Perhaps the most impressive round of the day belonged to Ella June Hannant. After struggling to an opening-round 80, and despite a triple bogey 6 on the par three 5th hole, Hannant bounced back with a three-under-par 69 on Monday, matching the lowest round of the day and vaulting into a tie for 13th place at five-over 149. Hannant is tied with Madison Lehr and one shot ahead of six players at six-over-par 150.
With just one round remaining, the championship appears destined to come from the group at the top of the leaderboard. Ha and Lydic have separated themselves slightly, but Hardwick, Meng, McIlvaine, and Galantini remain within six shots entering Tuesday's final round.
Three-Way Tie Sets Up Dramatic Final Round in Senior Division at The Donna
The Senior Division championship at the Donna Andrews Invitational is shaping up to be a Tuesday shootout.
After 36 holes at Boonsboro Country Club, Kathy Hartwiger, Shirley Vaughn, and Kimbra Benson are tied atop the leaderboard at one-over-par 145, setting the stage for a compelling final round among three players with very different paths to the lead.

Hartwiger, the 2023 Donna Senior Division champion, posted one of the best rounds of the day Monday with a one-under-par 71. After opening with a 74, the Alabama standout climbed into a share of the lead thanks to a steady round that reinforced why she entered the tournament as one of the favorites.
First-round leader Shirley Vaughn remains tied for the lead despite a second-round 76. Vaughn fired a tournament-best 69 on Sunday and still finds herself in prime position entering the final day. Through two rounds, she remains the only player in the field to post an under-par round.
Joining them atop the leaderboard is Kimbra Benson who followed her opening-round 71 with a 74 and has yet to post a round higher than four-over par, putting herself squarely in contention for the title.
Just one shot behind the leaders is Susan West at two-over-par 146. West has quietly put together one of the steadiest tournaments in the field, posting consecutive rounds of 72 and 74.
Linda Jeffery sits alone in fifth place at three-over-par 147 after rounds of 73 and 74. The Alabama resident and former U.S. Senior Women's Amateur semifinalist has been one of the most consistent players in the field and remains very much in the championship conversation.
2024 champion Suzi Spotleson is also within striking distance at four-over-par 148. After opening with a 75, Spotleson finished with four back nine birdies for a second-round 73 to move within three shots of the lead heading into the final round.

While the top six players have separated themselves from the field, seventh-place Judy Penman trails by seven shots and will likely need something special to challenge for the title.
One of the day's biggest improvements came from Robin Gallagher, who rebounded from an opening-round 82 with a second-round 75 to climb into a tie for ninth place. Mimi Hoffman also bounced back nicely, improving from an opening-round 85 to a second-round 78.
The biggest surprise of the day may have been the struggles of Virginia's Kristin Shifflett. After opening with a solid 76 and sitting within striking distance of the leaders, the reigning VSGA Senior Women's Golfer of the Year carded an 83 and fell into a tie for 12th.
With just one round remaining, six players sit within three shots of the lead, setting up what promises to be an exciting finish in a strong Senior Division field.
