Homebuyers remained active across the Greater Lynchburg region, with million-dollar-caliber properties, new construction, and established neighborhoods all represented in this week's transactions. Lynchburg and the surrounding counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell each recorded a variety of sales, ranging from premium homes to investment properties and vacant land. Building activity also continued at a steady pace with several high-value residential and commercial projects moving forward.
Lynchburg recorded the region's highest city sale as Lot 11 in McKenna Farms AKA 101 McKenna Cir., changed hands for $716,000.

Another strong transaction came in Blackwater Run, where a home on Lot 5, Phase 1A sold for $625,900. Lots 2 and 3 in Landon Hills rounded out the city's top sales at $530,000. Additional activity included a $355,000 sale on Fort Avenue, a condominium at The Gables at Wyndhurst for $198,000, and several townhouse and residential transfers throughout the city.

The second-highest transaction was Lot 12 in Tusculum Lake Estates, AKA 378 Tusculum Ln E, Amherst, which sold for $795,000. Sellers were represented by Trevor Gillispie with Elite Realty. This was followed by Lot 27 in Melwood Manor at $315,000. Other transfers included commercial property in the Izaak Trace Subdivision, residential lots, and parcels on Pine Ridge Drive and Stage Road.
