🔴 Highest Violation Total This Week
Bedford Country Club
3563 Peaks Road, Bedford
Inspection Date: June 24
Purpose: Routine
Violations: 10
Bedford Country Club recorded the week's highest routine inspection total after inspectors documented concerns involving food temperature control, employee food safety procedures and facility maintenance.
Among the more significant findings, inspectors observed refrigerated foods including chicken salad, hot dogs and cut tomatoes being held above the required 41-degree temperature limit because a refrigerator was operating at approximately 46 degrees. Employees immediately moved the affected foods to another refrigeration unit while management was instructed to repair the cooler.
Inspectors also cited the absence of a certified food protection manager, missing refrigerator thermometers, an out-of-service dish machine, improper storage of single-service utensils, personal food stored alongside commercial food products, and several housekeeping and facility maintenance issues. Several corrective actions were completed during the inspection.

Acorn Hill Restaurant received eight violations during a routine inspection centered on food handling, temperature control and sanitation practices. Inspectors observed an employee handling ready-to-eat garnishes after cracking raw eggs without changing gloves, several foods being held at unsafe temperatures, sanitizer concentrations reading zero parts per million, and a dish machine failing to reach the required sanitizing temperature. Additional maintenance issues included holes in walls and accumulated debris beneath storage racks.
